I've tried and found it impossible to crack, oh well guess I'll have to play with the CD in the drive :(

moderators, seams to have fun, and delete my threads...:D anyway, if they just could delete the not relevanted thing and spare the rest.

Anyway, I inform ya, that there is not protection reported for the game, so I'll gues you might do a image of the game, and mount it a virtual driver, or look at your regedit, and see if it points to your CD driver!

i think its when u install the 1.30 patch that it adds the protection to it.
could someone verify please

you can verify on that, you have the game. Scan with protection Id and see if you find anything. I bet you have starforce 3...

I quote :

8. No bumping your own thread unnecessarily

Bumping is basically making posts to keep a thread to the top of the forum, what you're trying to do. It's egoistic behaviour and frowned upon in ANY form. It's up to the mods to determine what is a bump or not. Usually we might ignore little bumps or one time bumps, but any bigger abuse (like your two consecutive bumps) will be dealt with. Oh and making new threads is an even worse idea. Bumping is no great offense and certainly not the end of the world, but it IS an annoyance that has to be contained to keep the board alive. If everyone started to bump like mad, it would get very tricky to find a thread with a real response between the junk. I hope that clears things up.

yea i really do read the rules.

the problem is i read the rules when i created my account.

and as you can see my account is just 1 month shy of 3 years.

so i am sorry if i couldnt remember a rule i read from 3 years ago.

and i do belong to many forums not just this one and some could give a crap less about a simple bump but as you have pointed out there is no bumping so i will not do it again.

ill just create a new thread.

krondike:

i believe 2 files are armadilo
and the main exe = "1 cd check" or similar.

i looked in the registry for the line that pointed to my cd rom and couldnt find it so i just mounted the back up image and tried to play patched game from that but it wont eventhough that is where i had previously installed it from.

im thinking maybe there might be a problem finding since my auto insert notification is off.

i think i previously turned it off with alcohol 120% but i have uninstalled that software and cant find where to turn auto insert back on. im using winxp pro with sp1 (fully updated.) do i turn it back on in computer management under services?

Unnecessary new threads about the same thing are even worse than a bump. I really wouldn't try that if I were you. I'm just trying to explain things to you. A good rule of thumb whenever you want to do something like that, would be asking yourself "What would happen if EVERYONE did this ?". Now I hope you understand how things work around here...

Armadilo, is an encryptions for .exe file IF I'm not mistaking.
CD-check, yeah that's what I guessing to. If you change the regedit and point ut to your installation folder, it might working. Mostly myth ripped releases, are inlcuding regedit settings, as there isn't a protection according to myth/deviance and some other team, but keep fighting. Have l8est Alcohol 120%, it's fix the blacklisting problem!
