PS2 chip help

hello im new to the mod-chip thing
so i need some help choosing one
i got a network adapter and a ps2
so can some one segest to me which mod-chip is good and one that you can play online

I like the Apple Pro (depending on PS2 version). But the DMS3, Duo, Smartchip and the Magic V seem to have the least problems as of late.
No chip as will let you play all backups online. I think some of the older games will work but not the newer ones.
