The crack is huge...too much for the GCW to cope with.
So you can use this Torrent file....

Download the BitTorrent client software in order to download the crack.

When we're saying "huge", what we really mean is 400+ Mb, so bittorrent is really the only way to get it...

Seems they could of made a compare patch/crack out of the original files. Would be easier on the download.

they couldnt, u should check the files first really before commenting ;)

I dont have the game and dont plan on getting it. Which means I will unlikely download 400+mb to see what the hype is about.

You have seen the files, please enlighten me as to why a compare/patch couldnt be done.

because the files included on the crack cd are not present on any of the cdroms, they're encrypted and scattered during the install.. so a simple patch thing cant be done

Does anyone know how to install the dead to rights cd crack i downloaded it took 2 hours on a 1mb connection. if anyone can help thank you

Think it was only to execute imsdtr.exe..or so...I can't tell cuz I don't have it...yet :)

So the encrypted files are scattered throughout the installed game! Most other protections are cracked by altering the game.exe or another file.

It would be time consuming, but why couldn't someone check throughout the game directory and crack the files involved? It's not likely to be done because very few sane people are willing to spend a huge chunk of their lives for this one purpose.

By the way, assuming that Alcohol 120 can allow you to play DTR with a copy, why couldn't you have a nocd crack based on the same technology?
