Hi, i gave to my PS2 v9 to be chipped to a specialised person with a Messiah chip.

My backups play, but not always. Sometimes it passes the screen with electrons and stay in a black screen. I reset and retry and then it boots. This effect is random. It never has a pattern, even if i try to close the switch, then boot, etc.

I opened the PS2 to check the connections, according to a v9 installation schematic and I realised that instead of EJECT, the RESET button was connected. I was about to change it, but i called the technician and told me not to do it because this version of Messiah works with the RESET button and not with EJECT.
As for the problem, he told me that it might has something to do with the grounding.

On the Messiah chip, these numbers are written

a54sx08a-f
tq100 0343

I read the ULTIMATE STICKY but my case wasn't there(randomly booting or not)

Any clues?

Thank you in advance!
