Khypermedia DVD-

^^Subject^^ Do they work for backups? I'm getting a DMS preinstalled on a v9 PS2 so I think that it should with the DMS and all

Also, since from what I've heard the v9 has a progressive scan DVD player, is it possible for me to buy DVD+ instead of DVD-.... because for some reason all the stores I got to have the + on sale for $10 for a 25 spindle and the -'s are like $50 per 25 spindle

wow 10$ for 25 pk thats cheap i heard that + dont work to well on ps2s but u could always try :) 10$ for 25 pk u wont be loseing much if they dont work and u can get u a a06 4x burner for 106$ it burns both + and - :) what stores sell them that cheap if u dont mind my asking

just check the sunday morning ads, I find OfficeMax and sometimes bestbuy will have them for that low, and I think the compusa may have had some too...

I have a Digital Research DVD -/+ r/rw..... I got it right after christmas for like $100 when it was normally like $200 :D

ok, I just wanted to know before I had to start giving out coasters that are 2 bucks a pop seeing as I'm backing up a bunch of games that my friends have and my premodded system is coming in a week or so from modchipman...

so I'll report back wit my findings in a week or so...

2 bucks a pop? Then why not use Ritek at about 1 a disc.

Also I hope your not reffering to piracy here bub when you say your backing up your friends games. I mean it better be for him.

yeah, I have my own games, I actually up to this point didn't have my PS2 chipped cause I never had need for it and there was always the chance of getting caught for playing a backup online.

Notice I said "giving away" not "accumulating" or something like that. I back up theirs cause none of them have a DVD burner (or a DVD drive for that matter) and actually have about 0 idea what they are doing on a PC... so they give me money to buy the disc and I back THEIR discs up for them because they probably don't even know you can disc Dr the things.... but either way I make some money outta my friends carelessness... isn't it a great world :D

I actually can't find Ritek anywhere around here... maybe I'm not looking hard enough... but I've checked at best buy, office max, comp USA, etc etc etc and no luck... maybe I'll just go and find some ones online :rolleyes:
