DVD Burning Newbie: What's the difference between DVD -R & DVD +R

Which format is best for archiving data to be viewed on a PC and which format is best for backing up DVD movies and PS2 games?

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

Either should work fine for you on your PC. But it really depends on your standalone DVD player and how picky your ps2 is. The only way to tell on a ps2 is to test it.


DVD-R should work fine with everything.
