im about to get a smartchip and i want to clarifie does origonals boot with the ps2 logo when you have the smartchip installed

No! The PS2 logo is bypassed on all games unless you disable the chip via a long press of the reset button.

Can anybody recommend the duo chip??? and does it direct boot like the m2 or shall i get the ripper2

Yes it does direct boot like the M2. The Ripper has extra features, some people want them, others don't!

oh so it stops lil s**** downloading stuff and playinig it on a chipped ps2. i hate piracy i support all my fav bands specialy the undesided who are nearly gonna be signed by virgin and peps are downloading songs and killing the music industrt it wont be long and music wont be avaliable caus people have robbed them out of money. hope they catch em

i think gcw should stop cracks as well all i want it for is to play imports from jap and the us. hull is the duo cheaper caus dust does it cheaper as well so i donoo. and my parents say is it dodgy u know mod chipping and will it damage my ps2 and if it does is there any warranty i just want to show her this message so i may get it done.

that message as well about hm customs is to stop them attacking u as well init as you warned your customers.
