Neverwinter Nights fixed exe v1.61 really is v1.60?

I got hold of the patch, (really slow on mirror 3) I first got a little confused when the name was dev-hu16.rar but the nfo file inside said it was 1.61 so... I already had an upgraded copy so I overwrote the original exe, I started the game went into gamespy to start playing on the PW I play at, only to be greeted by a "there is a new upgrade" message... huh?

I went back up got my original exe again ran the update only for having it say I already have all updates, and I was able to play with that exe file on my PW, so I guess this exe is really the 1.60 version that got pulled by bioware...

Any thoughts?

1.60 was a beta. It was never really released except on the online update and why they did that only they know. 1.60 from what I've hear had problems from the start so they released 1.61. You can find that 1.61 is downloadable thru there web page as well. There is a crack for the No-CD but for some odd reason the mirrors have been down for the last 2 days, why I do not know. I've found one other place that had it but you can't download it yet cause there making changes to there downloading systems.

the crack that's are avible at GameCopyWorld, is a 1.61 version.

Change from 1.60 -> 1.61 is only 1:
Compitable with Neverwinter Nights Gold edition.
