ok i just got my burner (pioneer dvr-s606 which supposedly is the external version of the 106, anyways) and i spent the day readin this site about copying dvds. Im just trying to clear up the programs to use so here goes...
to copy the dvd to ur HD the best out there is dvd x copy platinum and also is the best to burn that to a dvd also. If you dont have that the use x copy express or clone dvd for ripping the dvd to ur comp. After that use dvd shrink to take the file down to the appropriate size of 4.7gb or less. Then to burn the file use clone dvd or the before mentioned x copy express or platinum. Also when burning ps2 games use record now max right? I jsut here so many different things so im just tryin to get it down ya know? I understand that it all depends cause different proggies will work better for some people than for others but im just gettin the general basics. Also when making backups i am making a backup of the entire dvd not just the movie and im trying to get the best quality out of the deal. I also have access to easy cd creator 6 but i only saw one post about that prog and one person says good, one says bad so i dunno. Anyways, any help would be appreciated and or a reference to a dvd copying how to guide would be nice ;-) Also can anyone shed some light on alcohol 120% ? if its good or bad compared to the others?
