This is driving me nuts! I'm using AnyDVD's latest release, and CloneDVD 1.3.11.2 in demo mode. I have tried backing up my Matrix Reloaded as well as Pirates of the Carribean, and each time I get a resulted copy with English Subtext automatically turned on!
So here is what I'm doing. I start CloneDVD after I have started AnyDVD. I then put Matrix Reloaded into my DVD Rom, and click "Copy DVD Titles". I then click "Preserve Menus" so I can keep the menu items, and the first title only (the last two are the FBI warning and the WB logo). I click NEXT and am presented with the Audio and Subtitle Settings screen.
This is where I'm losing my mind. I notice behaviors such as the background of one side being white and the other grey. I've tried a multitude of combinations and just don't know where I'm going wrong.
Does anyone have any pointers at this point? Does the white/grey background mean anything other than last-active? I have been making my various choices and clicking next, then creating DVD files on the hard drive so I can verify before burning.
The last configuration was: Left white background with only English Audio checked. The right screen has grey background and English Audio only with English and Spanish subtext.
I'm trying to drop certain elements to conserve space and reduce main-movie compression.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
