Version 5

My friend has bought himself a xbox. I promised him to install the chip for him. His serial numer has the number 33 in the middle. Does this mean he has a version 5 xbox? And if so does a alladin 2 works or do i have to put a alladin advance in the xbox. I don`t need the ejct trick so i can diable the modchip. He don`t want to play online anyway.

If it's a version 5 xbox, you will need the alladin adavanced or any other v5 modchip.

If it's brand new and not refirbished, then chances are it is a version 5.
