Hello,
can anybody help me.
I have a magic slide card v3,0 and DVD version 2,0.
My True Crime Backup doesn't work on my Ps2.
Where can I get a patch for it and also I need a patch for Need for Speed Underground.

What you need is a better modchip. Preferably a Messiah 2, DMS3, or Smartchip. Depending on what version ps2 you have, you may be able to get plenty of others.

since its a ps2 v2, perhaps a Duo chip would be your best choice. they are cheap in price but are great in performance. All around great chip for gaming unless you prefer the best out there, then you would want to go for TylerDurdens recommendations, however if you plan to go that route, i recommend a pre-modded ps2 rather than putting more money in that old one. Maybe sell it on ebay or something and use the $ for a newer, better one.
u will need the cd loader go here and look up true crime and download the cd loader it should tell u how to boot it as well if not just pm me ;) i had to do this cause my apple chip would not boot it  but im awaiting my smrat chip system which sohuld be in tommarow :)

why do people persist in swapping? I know chips can be expensive, but they are coming down in price and the lack of hassle alone is worth the £££'s.

swapping sounds like a real pain in the keester muscle. I'm glad I waited to join the forum when I did, or I might have had to go thru all of this headache as the rest of you (Senior to me) gamers
did. Wish I invented tylenol. :D
If there is no need to go thru Trial and Error, why bother. Learning from others/mistakes should be a pastime. Certainly would cut back on wasting money
swaping was good to start out with cause back when i got my apple prices were like relly high costed me 120$ for a install and only had it a year and had to in up getting a new chip but fastmodz.com is doing the smartchip chip+install for only 60$ thats dam cheap
