Has anyone ever copied a psx game and played it on an actual psx succesfuly without a mod chip, swapping, or boot discs. I have tried everything. Ihave even tried CloneCD v.4 and I have still been unsuccesfull.

hehe u can get external mod chips or boot cds for the psx (ps1) which u can buy from divino. but no can do without a mod chip

swap disc trick... i have 30 backups of my originals of course. i dont have a modchip though.. i use a swap trick. thats about as close to a non modified playstation playing burned games as i can think

I will agree with everyone else.... no can do without a mod, i wouldnt recomend swap tricks or external mods either for that matter. Only one sure way to go and thats to have an internal mod fitted...!

yea i got one and im about to attempt to fit one soon as well wish me luck.I got to find a good soldering iron:D :)

Good luck sean.

Take care removing that metal plate.! and be carefull if you use an iron over 18 Watt's, dont want to start to burning tracks off the board.
