Anyone know what protection the "back to war" CD uses?

I've successfully produced image files to mount on virtual drives for the first 2 CDs (European Wars and The Art of War) which allow me to run the games without continually swapping CDs, but I've not succeeded in running "Back to war". I can mount the image file, and install from it, but not run the game without the original CD in the drive.

What does the "NO-CD" exceutable archive on GCW do, or looking at it another way, how is it installed? doesn't seem to do anything here, but I'm probably not installing it right :-)

I think it had Securom, can't say for sure since the protection might vary.

I have seen many different protections on Cossacks: Safedisc, Securom, Star Force.

Scan the main .EXE with a protection scanner to find it out.

I fiugred it was SecuRom, since the game launcher is in a directory by that name. Fantom is supposed to know wbout SecuRom and SecuRom 2, I think. Maybe it's newer than that :-(
