How can I make a copy-protected music cd that can be played anywhere, including in a cd drive, but cannot be copied with normal programs such as nero or easy cd creator. I'd prefer it if I could burn the copy-protected music cd directly and not have to first burn the cd, make an image of the cd, then make the copy-protected cd with the image(waste of a cd), but if that's the only way, I'll take it. Thx alot!

if you whant to make a copy of a protected music CD. download a .dll file that's allows you to play the CD in the computer. Then use a music program, try Windows Media Player 9 and covert all files to WMA if you whant a good quality do at the highest bit rate, then burn it with Media Player 9, should work!

I think he wants it the other way round - wants to make a copy protected cd
There are some tools on the net that allow you to make a simple copy protection but they are very rudimentary and easily bypassed - check Google for them

ideally, i think you could make an iso of the cd image, and then edit the TOC. im probably speaking out of my ass - as i've never done nething like that, and i cannot remember if the burning program regenerates the TOC from an ISO before burning.
