easy cd creator 6 works good too. i was just suppling another option cause this program works for dvd too. it is a converter and then can by burned as dvd or vcd.
i myself have not had the opportunity to try ecc 6 yet, but since you have recommended it, i will try it as well. always good to expand your options. lol

Yeah man its the best program and it doesnt take too long
Havn't used Roxio for dvds yet but I did for a cd today. I had bad burns with CloneCD, Nero, RecordNow Max, and Alcohol 120%. Gave Roxio 6 a try and it was perfect.

first you must convert the avi file to a mpeg1 or mpeg 2, then from there you can use your burn software to burn as dvd.
any of the afore mentioned software should be fine to use. some are better than others but all work. i would recommend using the software that came with your burner first and then try others if that does not work. the process to convert is lengthly so expect it to take a while. time to convert depends of the size of the file.

Nope, you dont have to do that. Lol!:)
With Easy Cd Creator 6 it does it automaticaly no need to convert neither with ulead dvd factory it takes longer but you dont have to convert. i say go with ecc6 it takes 3 hours at most to encode and burn even when its an avi file
