Black Screen on booting.

I have recently fitted with messiah 2 pro 1.31 mod chip on my PS2 ver 5. When i turn it on, there is no ps2 logo or sound, just completely black. All wires checked, is fine.
Can anyone suggest what else do i need to check. Many thanks.

Check no pins - particularly on the bios legs - have been bridged with solder.

I have checked the bio leg pins, there is no bridged with solder, anything else that i need to check...?

PS2 ver SCHP 50002, CAN THIS MODEL BE CHIP WITH MESSIAH 2 PRO V1.31.

50002 is a v9 and is compatible with messiah2 v1.31.

Usual routine in this situation is to remove the modchip, clean up the motherboard an see if yr ps2 works unmodded an go from there.
