CD Broke :( No cd crack help

My Command and Conquer Generals cd 1 just recently broke and I cannot figure out how to use the No CD Crack for C&C: Generals v1.7 I do not understand what I am supposed to do when the instructions say... Replace the original GENERALS.EXE executable with the one from the File Archive. I would apreciate someone's help!:confused:

Use winrar 3.20 to open the rar file!
Extract all the files that's are in the .rar file to the same folder as Generals are installed and replace all the files.

Where did you find a 1.7 that had a EXE??Drunks only has a dat file to replace.

Ok. I had the same problem when d/l the DRUNK 1.7 crack.. you need to get hold of a 1.6 crack.. either from megagames or gamecopyworld and d/l one of the 1.6 cracks and replace the generals.exe with the cracked one from a 1.6 crack.. the 1.7 update for Command and Conquer Generals does not update the generals.exe.. worked good for me =P
