If your hard disk is not NTFS formatted (like FAT32), you can't write file larger than 4GB on your hard disk.

You will need to have Windows 2000 or XP to be able to convert your file system to NTSF.

Do a search on Google for Partition Magic and you should be able to get that to do the job for ya.

Otherwise you have to stick with a 4gig size limit.

I bet you have Windows ME or at least had it then converted to a later version.

Partition magic is more reliable, I really don't like working with built in windowsa components such as a FAT32 to NTFS converter.
