LoTR Return of the King sound problem

I haw installed Return of the king but the sound doesent completly work. I dont get any sound from the movies no music and no speech. The thing i get though is sfx. What can i do to correct this?

install the divx codec

I have all ready done that
(and i think that they put all of the nececary codecs in theyr product, otherwise it would suck. )
