What's the whole thing about mIrc???

I've heared that i can get some good tools for my box on mirc. the problem is that I'm a Newbie and i'v never used mIRC.
I've heard i have to go to a server calld #Efnet but how can i connect.


about backing my own games up?
wich dvd type is better DVD- or +?

thats what u can get a bunch of programs from
