Does anyone have any experience with this?? Is there a trick to get it aligned correctly??

Not really... You will just have to keep playing with it. My guess is its the D0 not lining up right. I know with my Matrix I had to press more on the D0 than the LCP pogo pins to get it to align correctly.

I got all of the LED's to come on. I read that you disable the chip...boot and then turn off enable the chip and reboot and you should get Cromwell info.

I get a blank screen and aflashing green light on front of Xbox. Does this mean my chip has no bios on it?

Just b/c the lights are one really dosen't mean the chip is lined up right. Keep playing with it. It can be a pain, but your gonna be happy when you finly get it.

Well I finally got it to work. After messing with it I figured that I was tightenight the screw too much.

Now all I need is the program to flash the chip with...any suggestions?

Flash it with X2 4974 that seems to work good.

I was told there is a program you need to use to create the file on a CD that flashes the chip is this correct?

Yes, take a look at this post over at XBox-Ccene (http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?act=ST&f=50&t=47221&hl=ozxflash&)
That should help you in flashing the chip.
