i want to install the magic chip... been searching cant find any info... please help... What other chips are recommended and where to get... i see DMS is good but dont have any experience

Which magic chip? What info you looking for? If I were you I wouldn't mod your v1, as they have sh*tty lasers. Sell it and buy a new v7.

Hmmm I remember a similar thread with Evo. I think we finally convinced him that it would be really worth it to just sell your old ps2 on Ebay and just buy a new one.

Yeah, even if it plays originals fine odds are after you mod it you will have problems with dvd-r.
