Let me get this straight. Are you asking if you can get the audio off of a DVD Movie or a Data DVD with audio files on it?
Tyler!
i am asking how to take the whole audio from a dvd movie, and make a playable cd-r.

Wow thats gonna be a lengthy process, something like 10 hours of encoding just to get an audio track. You can probably get more info on it a www.dvdrhelp.com
Or you could probably just get a sound card with jacks in the back and just plug your Audio jack and copy that.

thanks. i thought it would be a simple matter of extracting the audio from the video_ts file and converting it to wav. somebody must have done it before . i was thinking i could use dvd shrink and just select the audio. then let that run and i would have a " sound only" file that i could convert with some other program. when i figure it out I'll let you know incase someone else has a lot of free time on there hands
