only sound no video????

I have a simpsons avi file and when i play it it is only audio and no video although the file size is a couple of gig big so i dont think it has just dl'ed the audio on it but it sure wont play it on windows media player only sound and i tried it on power dvd too but the same prob occurs?????
somone please help me cos i just got a 2 meg line for doing this but feel a bit danted now

You need the correct codec. Download and install this (http://download.divx.com/divx/DivX51Bundle.exe) and play your file with the supplied player.
