View Full Version : i add it to the favs the ebay listing for v9 units :)
when i tpyed in 50001 units and ps2 + it came out with games and old systems and i sure didnt feel like checking ever listing to see if it was v9 units
Which is why you search for progressive. Most people are gonna mention that feature in their description.
i would had never thought i figerd saying v9 or 50k series would do it i seen one on there for 60$ and only 1 day left i might be able to get one at a decent price :) now i wonder if bill could mod this for me
He could do it. He just reviewed the Mars II in the US v9.

First note you must be experienced at soldering to install any chip in a SCPH-5000x. The CD/DVD controller points are small and must be well prepared before soldering. This alone will create many damaged circuit boards (pads pulled off) for the inexperienced. The chip works as expected and should give the competitors a run for their money. It has not been tested by me but i am almost positive this chip is NOT HDD compatible. Stands to reason they would have mentioned this as a feature when the chip was released. All in all not a bad chip. Its projects like the Mars II and the Latin Mod and also the DUO chip that are slowly choking the Messiah 2
the Mars II dose this chip work as good as a m2 cause i was thinking of getting a m2 on the v9 but if theres a cheaper chip that dose the same job i will go with it
The current v9 M2 is a little buggy. The Mars II looks to be pretty good. It's up to you.
i will prob go with mars 2 wonder how much one of these run?
