Using RAR files

I have the Hoyle Casino 2004 game loaded on to my computer, but would like to play without having to insert the cd disk. I've downloaded the RAR file "fdxhertn.rar" from GameCopyWorld but dont really know what to do with it. I downloaded the WinRAR and extracted the files to my Hoyle Casino 2004 folder. It allowes me to add money to my account inside the game but will not allow me to run the game without the cd. Any help "ANYBODY" Thanks in Advance.

The file u downloaded is a trainer. A trainer contains cheats (e.o.) for a game. U have to download a no-cd CRACK file. I don't think there is one out yet. But u can try backing up the CD('s) using Alcohol 120% (http://www.alcohol-software.com/)

I to am trying to get Hoyle Casino 2004 to work without the CD, virtual drive or making a "backup copy". I have downloaded Alcohol 120% and I guess I do not know how to use it correctly !!! I have tried Nero, CDRWIN, Alcohol 120%(to the best of my ability) I am getting a Disk Read Error at 294831 and an 05/64/00 illegal mode for this track error from Alcohol 120. I used RAW DAO to try to copy it and I got the same error. I have not set the datatype at the bottom(don't really know what to set it to) Any ideas would be appreciated.

point out the protection with clony xxl...put the appropriate setting on alcohol and make the image of the disk after that install the game from the virtual drive after you have loaded the image on it...

Pardon my ignorance...what is clony xxl??? and what is the correct setting to put Alcohol in?

Ok I found clony xxl and I am guessing that I need to run that to determine what copy protection the cd is in correct? I then would put Alcohol in that same setting to match it. Problem is I dont know what setting the clony xxl needs to be in in order to detect the cd in the drive...Thanks for helping me !!!!

Okay I figured it out it says : Keine CD im Laufwerk

What does that mean?

The german term "Keine CD im Laufwerk" is a "No disc inserted" message.
I can't believe that themis_t tells you to use this sh|tty ClonyXXL to scan for the protection. ClonyXXL is dead. It can't find the newest protections...

There's an easier way.
Download PROTECTION ID from http://www.cdkiller2002.tk/ and scan the main exe of the game. It tells you which protection is used.

It worked! I have no idea how or what I pushed to get it to work. I just ran the CD killer and it told me that it was SecuRom 4.84.81 and then I changed the data type in Alcohol 120% and there was three Securom settings and I tried all of them, and was still getting Data Read Errors. The last one I chose was Securom 4x.5x...and it worked after It copied the image file. I still have no idea what I did but it worked! I really appreciate everyones help. I really would like to know more about this and do more with Alcohol, it looks like a powerful utility. Thanks again .. If anyone has any tips on alcohol please share.....

To save on CD's use CD-RW's so you can erase, or mount the image and dont burn until the image works.

Alcohol has a forum too.

your copy works because alcohol included RMPS emulation.
