OT: GCW problems & Max Payne2 nocd

I've been having trouble downloading from GCW for a while & have tried all the obvious stuff (check security settings & diable dl managers) but still can't get anything. Would an IE reinst help? In the meantime does anyone know where else the max payne 2 v1.01 nocd is hosted or could someone mail it to me.

BTW I'm also having trouble backing up Max Payne 2 - can't get an installable & working copy. Does anyone know the settings I should try w alc 120% (using LG DVD drive to copy to memorex MAXX24 CDRW)

Disable any ad blockking software - Zonealarm Pro has an ad blocker

It wasn't that but thanks anyway - I got it fixed with the IE repair util.

Damn thing is running about twice as fast now as well - guess it's worth doing a little housekeeping from time to time

Don't forget to check for spyware, if you didn't already, use Spybot S&D (http://ftp.pcworld.com/pub/new/privacy___security/ad_blockers/spybotsd12.exe) to scan for any spyware. Spyware could have caused the symptoms you describe, and it can do a whole lot of other nasty stuff.
