Neo2.2 Turn off [Archive]

Hi,

Is there a way (like holding reset for 10sec) to turnoff a Neo2.2?

There is one way to turn it off. Open up yr ps2 an rip the thang out then hit it with hammer. That should do the trick an double yr laser lifespan as well.

No but can i go online -WITH ORIGINAL GAMES OFCOZ!- with a neo2.2 in my PS2?

Sorry dude, not much help I know.

Many moons ago I had a neo2.2 in a version 4 an when I switched the ps2 on the chip was disabled. I had to do a reset to activate the thing so I assumed that the chip was off until I hit reset.

As for on line gaming you should have no problem. When you go Online there is no modchip scan on your machine, it searches for original software.
