Ouch. I thought the developers of GalCiv would never add a copy protection to their game, they instead trusted on a serial key only. The original english release could be used without the cd. The worse news is that IIRC ProtectCD5 can't be easily copied (or at all ?) I hope someone here can help you, I'm stumped :(
There was always somebody who maked Cracks for very difficult protected Games. Is this Time ending? Can you say me where I can get some more Help?
What is going on here.
There are Cracks for every **** game, but not for a game wich is much better than master of orion 3.

Try downloading the full game from the www.galciv.com?
Supposedly people with valid serial numbers can download the game at any time. And the download doesnt require a CD.
I have the number of german version and it doesn't work? Have you probably a code wich works?

It may be that it doesnt accept a german serial number,
send an email or post in the galactic civ forum asking if you can download using a german serial.
Hopefully you can.

Hi,
can't confirm this.
I've bought galactic civilizations 2 (GER) and there is no CD-protection at all :confused:
@phil8900
Yep, according to GCW (http://m1008.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_galactic_civilizations_2.shtml) there is no protection on Galactic Civilizations 2. ;)
Thread starter means GALACTIC CIVILIZATIONS 1.
Thread is from 2003 !!!!!!!!!!
lol
Yes but Phil still asked a fair question. ;)
