Firewall

I have a problem.
I want to play C&C Generals online with a friend of mine but he has a firewall on his router (Samsung) so he can't play online.
We've tried to shut it down but nothing worked.
So if someone knows how to shut down the firewall please reply!

if its a router then you have to forward ports

Check the support site, might tell you what ports to open.
