Mafia Game Problems!

i got the cracks and such but when i run the game i get through the intros and i see the load screen but then the game just exits...

What's are you OS!
What's are you DirectX?
Dose the same happen with the original CD?
What version do you play in? (latest 1.1)
What version of crack do you use? (latest 1.1)
What graphic card do you have?

hey i'm using XP (i've tried running it in 98)
Direct X is 9.0
it does happen
i think i still have 1.0 kuz i didn't get the patch
i tried using both versions of the patch just in case
i have an NVIDA GeForce4 MX 420

i also tried disabling my soundblaster card, but my computer just froze, it disabled the card but the game still didn't work

i got an error that said the game wasn't installed

well reinstall the game from your original CD. Becuase if the patch dosen't install, it's something wrong with the first installation. And this smells like it is a question to the developer of the game.....and not to this forum.....but reinstall the game and install the patch. If you still got problem to install the patch contact the game devoloper!
