Cdrwin Problems

Everytime i try to extract the tracks from the PS2 DVD it starts to analyze the disc layout and then pops up with the error "unable to analyze disc layout. Illegal track type encountered"

Ive used versions 4 and 3 and nothing works, no matter what settings i use, what could possibly be causing this

Oh and when i use addzero frontend, it just freezes and never does anything but sit there after creating the temp file, can anyone help please??

well i just tried using addzero in dos and it said the iso im using needs to be converted to a 2048 sector image file...how might i go upon doing that?

CDRWIN is not for DVD back ups it is only for CD back ups. To make an image of a DVD bases PS2 game use RecordNowMax or Alcohol 120%.

Actually the newest version of CDRWin, 3.9E, supports dvd. I have it but haven't tried it yet.

yah i have version 5, version 4 and tried 3.9 and 3.8 and wut not, i just ordered a sony dru-510a so that prolyl will fix all problems, and im using a swap magic with slie card, plus a cd loader boot disk that i foudn off the net, i heard there sonly liek 8 games that dont work and i have the list, think im set for backing up ps2 games? also when i rip an iso from a cd it doesnt save it as a 2048/sector size, u knwow ut p[rograms do? i have romcenter which can comnvert them but u need them in a zip or sum crap, got any suggestions?

CDRWIN 5 is not an official golden hawk product. It is a German creation that some people don’t like. How ever I have used it and its Ok all though I don’t recommend it. The latest version of the official CDRWIN is version 3.9E. For DVD images I use RecordNow Max which is made by Stomp. Now that you have ordered a Sony dru-510a you will be getting most likely a copy of stomps RecordNow DX which is what my Sony DRU-500 came with. It should work just fine. When you do get it forget about converting the image and all that just use recordnow and make a new image of your original hmm. Problem solved. Hopefully ;)
