I have a pioneer 106 no probs.

You probobly got a scratched or dodgy disk try cleaning it or try using a diffrent drive or program ie alcohol 120%

hope this helps

Make sure your drive is set as master and that you are using RNM 4.50.

Sometimes it can be ok, but Pioneer recommends setting it as master. Conflicts with software can arise if it is set as slave.

I have the messiah 2 pro, installed by myself and was a bit tricky but works great
ps2 v4 no problems reading disks yet?

Yeah you need 4.50. All probs will be gone then. Download this (http://downloads.stompinc.com/support/stprnm450v.exe) file and it will upgrade you to 4.50.
