I am at wits end. I have backed up my entire PS2 collection (75 games) but the only one that gives me grief is State of Emergency.

I use RecordNow MAX 4.5 to backup but whenever it reaches 2% of reading the disc (around the 90Mb mark) it stops reading and gives me an L-EC Unrecoverable error.
PLEASE HELP ME!

Are there any scratches on the disk?

Tried uninstalling/reinstalling RNM but it didn;t work. No idea why it won't read.

You probably have a bad original disc. Some have minor warps and wont allow a good read. I have come across 2 so far.

Yep. Sounds like a warped disc. I've seen one before - my mates. I tried to back it up for him but to no avail. Try and get hold of another original and this should work...

Slap it in a jiffy an send it back to distributor with letter demanding replacement.

They the ones that drip about copies, they can replace yr warped original!
