cant back up daredevil

I am using dvdxcopy. I get a message saying (cannot open cd-r interface selected interace not supported). Can anyone help thanks.

Need more details. What verison? When does this message come up? What burner? Have you tried more than one movie?

dvdxcopy version 1.4.1. , sony dru500a, i start copying than in about 10mins into copying the message comes up. I tryed two movies and get the same message.

10 mins into burning or ripping? Your version is a little old. Upgrade to 1.5.2.

Is it scratch or dirty? Have you tried both gear and Nero options?

Go onto the dvd x copy xpress site and download the demo and see if you can do it like that or maybe use smart rip the dvdx to rip then burn using nero you may have to wait an hour for the film to encode but hey
