Hi , I have tried almost everything to copy PS2 games 1.1 copy using clone cd and Clony XXL as i do not have a mod chip and no DVD burner at present.

I can bypass all the protected stuff and burns fine, however the PS2 console does not read it. When copying PS1 games it works perfectly.
There is a vast amount of info re copy PS2 games on the net, and it all way over my head.
All im trying to do is copy the games (novice guide) if possible.

Im in the process of buying a DVD burner in the next few weeks. Will that make it easy?
I have tried using Win CD Nero, and others but same thing happens, copies but console wont read it.

If anyone can help me i would be grateful before going complete bald with frustration

Cheers:confused:

When you copy a game you can't copy this small section on the disk. This unreadable section is the country code and boot sequence if I remember correctly. That is what the modchip inserts for you. The reason they wont play is that this section is missing. Getting a modchip would cure your ailment. Theres another way to boot your games without a modchip but it will destroy your playstation.

I haven't been here in a couple months, but I'd imagine the Messiah 2 is still the premier chip to get. Go with that. You will have no problems with it, I can almost guarantee.
