Annoying sound with burnt dvd's

My xbox makes this REALLY annoying high pitched ring when it's reading burnt dvd's during movies or playin games. Does anyone else have this problem and is there anything i can do to fix it? Thanks

Either use different dvd's or burn at a lower speed.

i've used 3 different brands of dvd's. I've tried dvd-r's and dvd+r's yet it still does it, and i've burnt all of them at 1X.

i use RecordNow DX for games and dvd x copy for movies and i get the annoying sound with both.
