View Full Version : Dead to Rights Backup problem
Hi all,
Just tried backing up Dead to rights. Everything goes as normal, the back up process is OK but when I come to play it in my PS2 is comes up with DISC ERROR. I've backup many of my other games and never had any problems.
Is there a known problem with this games, if so how can I correct it?

:(
Burned it with RecordNow Max 4.50 no problem.
Not got that program, anyone had a good burn with any other programs.
Paulo88:confused:
How do you not have RNM? It is the best backup prog. You can download the 30 day demo here (http://downloads.stompinc.com/files/stpRNM450e_STPD.exe). Give it a try with Dead to Rights.
OK I'll give it a go...... I'll be back with comments;)
Tried it and got exactly the same "DISC READ ERROR".
What settings do you use ?
Paul
I don't change any settings. I make an image then burn. Is your original clean and scratch free?
Yep its brand new !!!
Although I did it on the fly, would that effect it !
Ahhh! Never do on the fly. Make an image then burn or choose make an exact copy.
OK Im gonna try make image. Despite this not currently working I do agree that it is a very nice package to use !!
It will be even better if I can get it to work lol.
Paulo:)
Well I've just tried it burning to Image then to DVD and again i keep getting a DISC READ ERROR. I've never had so many tries at one game as I have this. I've decided that Im not going to waste any more dvd's until I've got another way of backing up this game. Thanks for all the help, the program is not bad just a shame it didnt work for me  :( :( :(
What dvd-r brand r u using?
try standing your ps2 up right i had this prob with ps2 cds
my ps2 would boot all ps2 dvds 100% but when i stod it up every thing
boots ??????????????????
Rather than stand it up try running a laser cleaning disc through it. Try it dry a few times first an then wet a few times an give it another go.
Thanx Guys I'll give it a go !
:D
