The 1st patch did as people replied had problems! this has been fixed and now released so enjoy people.

Thanks. just got the new patch. In order for me not to make any more bad "back-ups" of WE7 what do I do with it.
I currently have a nero6 image of WE7.

Ok if that image is untouched ie. not been edited then it should be ok! ill tell ya how i got patch to work ok.

1. Got The Winning Eleven Image
2. Run PPF-O-Magic 3
3. apply the patch to the image. (MODERATORS NOTE: Do NOT mention anything about a game from a release group here. Either use/talk about YOUR original or DONT talk about it at ALL)
4. Burn the image using CDRWIN 5. Using Image Settings, Mode 2,TOC CD-XA, Block 2048.
Burned At 48x (doesnt really matter what speed u burn at.

5. Finished.

NOTE : I find using CDMATE to make a ps2 image is best for me. Just click on the image CD-ROM TO IMAGE And click on the wizard (if old version) or The Pull down bar where it says custom (If New) and select PSX1/2. And <<Untick>> Everything. And Save as .Bin Image.

I could never understand why anyone would use a CRAP program like CDRWin 5. Its not legit nor is it a good program.

What does this patch fix exactly?

The First English patch never fully loaded. I and several of my friend have tried it and it just kept patching for up to 1 hour then I just canceled.

The new patch actually works and it patches instantaniously. Although its not a 100% english patch it does help out with a lot of the menus and players names.
