Dvd-RW and CD-RW??

I have a question...:confused: I have backed up my games on DVD-RW and CD-RWs. They start up fine but as soon as it gets to thes start screen it freezes. Is it my playstation, my mod, the games, or the CDs im using? Is there a certian way that they need to be burnt? any helpwould be greatly apreciated THX... :confused:

burn them on cdrs and dvdrs because all rw's have poor reflectivity

Also, never burn 'On-The-Fly' and if you're unsure about burning your games, tutorials on ALL softwares which will back up PS2 games can be found @ PS2 Place (http://www.mjpaul.freeserve.co.uk)
