PS2 Magic 3 Help!

Hello my Magic 3 Mod, has been refusing to boot
games i mean DVD-R i have to reset not just once but
a few times is this normal for this chip

Unfortunately yes, this chip has a bad boot rate. I had 2 machines with magic 3.1 and it was a pain with my princo dvd-rs so I just pulled them and installed messiah2s instead, now they boot every time all the time. your best option is to either use good quality media or change chips.
