View Full Version : Is there anyway to emulate NWN: SoU?

I am constantly updating NWN with BETA patches, and I am not expecting anyone to make no-CD cracks for beta .exe files.

Is there an unwrapper or any way I can emulate SecuROM (that is what is being used to protect the game, right?) ?
I tried Alcohol 120%, and Daemon Tools (latest version), but it did not help at all! The game still asks for the CD!

What version are you using now? 1.30?

1.31 BETA 3.
It fixed performance problems with ATi Radeon 9500-9700 Pro cards.
I found some GENERIC patch at GCW, but it doesn't help either.
I guess its time to go through hundreds of CDs in the closet to find the real copy :(

Umm..beta..kinda hard...will they release a -real- patch for it soon?

The securom is "no more"? Just the cd check?

The 1.31 final patch is out!
and from 1.29 (I think) and ->
it's only contains CD-checks..
So you can emulate!
If you can't you might have a bad copy or a warez copy of the game!
