5.1 sound

I'm able to create an almost perfect back-up copy of my DVD's, but I am not able to reproduce 5.1 Digital Surround on the back-up? I can only get Pro logic or 5 Channel stereo. Is there a seperate proggy for doing the digital sound or am I doing something wrong? I RIP with DVD Decrypter, COMPRESS with DVD2ONE and Burn with NERO. So apart from no 5.1 Surround I'm happy but would like to figure this out so any help would be appreciated.

Don't worry I figured it out. It turned out that I had not changed the Audio set-up setting in my DVD player back from PCM to RAW!! Dont ask why 'cause it's should always be on RAW with optical cable, but anyway it's working YIPPPEEEEE!!!
