v5/v6 no solder mod?

Does the v5/v6 no solder mod work on a v7 ps2. Because some of the websites i went to had a no solder mod that work on v5/v6/v7 and a different website had a no solder mod that only work on a v5/v6 ps2. So if the v5/v6 mod doesnt work on a v7 can someone link me to a website that has a v7 no solder mod.
And for a v7 ps2 does it require the swap magic discs?
Which is better to use on a v4 ps2 an action replay2, gameshark2, or swap magic discs?
If i were to use a action replay would the 10 dollar gt ones you can get from toysrus work or do i have to get the action replay that works for all games?

If you have a SCPH 39001, the v5/v6/v7 no solder will work. Since you have a v7 you must use swap magic to boot, which suck. AR/GS won't work. Might as well buy an Apple Pro for $20.
