DVD Backups

Do DVD Backups work on Messiah2-modded PS2s? Just curious :)

If you mean dvd movies, yes. You don't even need a mod to play backup dvds. Hold reset until the blue eject light comes on to boot dvd movies.

i never could get backup dvds to work on my ps2 or xbox (both modded) i use dvdxcopy and nero to burn

yeah i know i'm bttoing correctly - it's how i'm ripping er burning is the problem

All my dvds burned with DXC work fine. What version you using and are you using the Nero method or gear/internal burning rom?

yeah i have to use the nero method - that's the only way that they'll work on the other players in my house

Weird. Most people have better compatability with gear.

The way I backup my movies is by using DVD Shrink (To Compress the movie) which is free and to burn the compressed movie, I use CopyToDVD which is a shareware. Never had problems with these two (Except CopyToDVD isn't compatible with DVD+R :( ) No problems using these to progs, best of all they're free! Hope these work! Also there's a boot procedure for backup movie dvds :confused: ? I usually just stick them in my PS2 and it plays..... oh well :D .
