can anybody tell me why my nero v5.10 or dvdxcopy v1.3 will not find my a06.the system sees it but the software doesnt and its driving me mad......also when i tried to copy a dvdr with xcopy my pc went haywire and crashed to the blue screen of death and then wouldn't recognise my hard drive...any ideas please

Both of them versions are very out of date and so won't recognise new drives cos they didn't exist at the time.
Update your software.

ok m8.whats the best software i can use for a newbie.....and i am downloaded 551042 for nero is this new enough for my drive or do i have to buy version 6

If that's the latest 5.5 version then it should be fine, you won't need to purchase Nero 6

RecordNow Max is a great prog for basic burning and ps2 games. You will need to install the latest px engine update here (http://support.sonic.com/Downloads/engine.asp) for your drive to be recognized.
