I have just now got the network adaptor for the ps2. I have succesfully instaled the network adaptor softwear. I have a backup copy of ncaa 2004. It will connect via the internet but it gives me error 402 problems with the ps2 disk. Is there anyway i can get online or around this error with backup games via the network adaptor. Thanks for the help?

You can not play NCAA 2004 online with a backup. You must use your original.

I have ordered the new modchip dms3 v2. I guess i will just have to replace my magic 3.6 mod to the new dms3 v2! That will work right?

Nope. No chip can get passed this new protection. An original must be used.

I went to several websites that sell the DMS3 chip and not one mentioned that it gets passed the DNAS check.

Like I have said before, no current chip will get passed DNAS protection if using a backup game. The only way around it is by disabling your chip and using your original.

put it in sleep mode with a backup and you get RSOD,

Yo, BG:

I have been doing a lot of parenting actually. ;)

Then someone emailed me about DNAS protection and asked if I knew what it was. So I had to do a search.

I am now very curious as to if this little bugger of a protection will indeed be cracked! If you have any info on it please email it to me or write it here. I am very curious to know if this can be fixed via a hex change or somethin.

People are working on a fix as we speak.
