Hello everyone, first of all, sorry for my (poor) english ...

I have a big problem during the installation of this game. I burned the 3 cd's (with Clonecd and also with Alcohol120%) and there was no problem.

When i want to begin the installation, the cd1 works, but after, there's a problem with the cd2 et my computer stop working and i can't do anything. I always have to restart it

Does somebody know what I have to do???

Thanks for your answers

yes, after that i tried to install the game with the original cd's and it worked

So, if someone has copied this game, how did you do it? couls you tell the program and the way to do it?

It sounds like you have a read error on cd2. I suggest trying Alcohol120% (www.alcohol-software.com) to copy it. Use the safedisc 2 profile and lower the read speed to 4x or lower. Lowering the read speed will usually fix any read errors... Was there any error message or did your pc really lock up ?

I tried another time to read the cd2 and to burn it at a lower speed (4x) but there's still the same problem

I tried with Alcohol120% ... but i have always to restart my computer because all stop during the installation. I don't understand why...

I don't know what's happening but now it's working; in fact, I have uninstalled DirectX 9 to install the previous version and and now, the game is working...

Uninstalled dx9? Wow, I thought you couldn't do it once it was installed!

There is a few tools to uninstall directX, but it could give you unknown effects on your computer. As i know, only in 9x or Me direct X can be unistalled cause 2k or Xp has it built into the main kernel.

Good luck.

I have done it but you have to do it in the Safe Mode of Windows and you have to have the cd of windows. In fact, it uninstalls directx9 and directly install Directx8
