I am trying to make a backup copy of these 4 games but i cant get them copyed. I have a magic 3.6 modchip. Do i need a patch of some kind? Thanks So Much!!

Nope

I've backed up Tomb Raider, Ghost Recon & Conflict Desert Storm, & they all work fine!

I used Record Now Max with a Pioneer A05 burner!

What Type of mod chip do you have? I have magic 3.6 and i have the pioneer dvd-r burner! Thanks for your help!

Nero is your problem. You can download a RecordNow Max demo here (http://downloads.stompinc.com/files/stpRNM450e_STPD.exe)

Ok thanks! I now have the recordnow max softwear. But i have another problem. After i make the backup of the game i take the burnt dvd out of the pioneer unit and look at the bottom of it where the game has been burnt to is only 1 inc wide. and the same game burnt with nero the bottom of the dvd is almost full like the whole 10 inc of the dvd. DO I NEED TO CHANGE THE SETTINGS in recordmax now? Thanks for the help!!!

What method did you use to burn? The make exact copy option usually works fine. Just don't multitask while burning.

I am doing everything i know to do. I am following step by step instructions and doing a direct copy to copy option. It burns for about 20 to 30 min and says disk made successful and i look at the botom of the dvd and it only has 2inc where the dvd burner wrote to the blank dvd. It seams like there is a option somewhere i have not got enabled! I have a magic 3.6 modchip and a pioneer a05u dvd-r burner. Do i have all the right stuff? Are you sure i dont need a patch for these games or updated my modchip? Thanks for the help!!

No, you don't need to patch dvd games. Not sure what the hell is going on with your burns.:confused: Did you try following the guide in the backup procedures sticky?

No i havent read it. But i have been burning ps1,2 games for a long time and just now ran into games that wont copy. I will take a look at it. Where do i go to get it? Thanks for the help!!

It is the 5th post. It is called a sticky because it is stuck at or near the top for reference.
